Résumé

The 47 days route in Bolivia was challenging: stony, sandy and salted roads at high altitudes, strong winds and heating sun, led us through extremely nice landscapes, which overcame all expectations. We reached the highest world road at 5768 m, but only one person (Regimantas Bindokas) managed to climb a hard snow slope of the Uturuncu volcano at 6008 m. Altogether we had 19 participants, including 2 drivers (15 men and 4 women), from Lithuania 13 and from Poland 6. Only 3 cyclists made the whole route, full of “death roads”, the famous Yungas Death Road wasn’t the most extreme.
