Reunion meeting
And it is a time for the BaltiCCycle Reunion Meeting which will be held on October 18-20 in Kosów Lacki, Poland.
It is a town in Sokołów Podlaski County, Masovian Voivodeship, ~110 km North-East from Warsaw, very close to the Bug Landscape Park. We are planning a bike excursion to this protected area on Saturday, October 19. A picture by El Greco Saint Francise ecstasy was found in the presbytery in Kosów Lacki in 1964. From 2004 it is exhibited in The Diocese Museum in Siedlce. There are a church (neogotic dated 1907) with interesting sculptures, pictures, stained glass windows etc. from 17th-18th c.; an electric mill – former synagogue from the beginning of 20th in Kosów Lacki; in nearby villages (Dębe Nowe, Tosie, Nowa Wieś, Sterdyń) palaces and parks, and in Treblinka a Nazi extermination camp.

The best option to come is by own transport. There is a public bus from Sokołów Podlaski (ask us about details).

departure or individual program recommended: visiting Death Transport Road leading from Kosów Lacki to Treblinka (12 km), visiting museum in Treblinka (open 9:00 – 18:30)
Accommodation
The school is new with beds and bedclothes (or you can use your own sleeping bag), two rooms for 5-6 people, two for more than 10, and some more possibilities. Warm water, showers, WC, kitchen with electric kettle, coffee machine, fridge, microwave, oven.
