Reunion meeting

Place of meeting. The bathouse complex in village Pypliai, at the summer resort Kačerginė at the summer resort Kačerginė, in the close surroundings of Kaunas; ~15 km from Kaunas centre, ~4 km from Kačerginė.

Arrival. There is a bicycle trail from Kaunas to Kačerginė along the cost of Nemunas River. The regular bus shuttles between Kaunas bus station and Kačerginė once per hour on Saturday and Sunday. Taxi from Kaunas centre costs ~30 Lt.

Accommodation. The accommodation is available from October 22, Friday, 16:00 to October 25, Monday, 11:00. There are dormitory-type rooms for sleeping, including beddings and hot shower. The price per person per night costs 25 Lt.

Meals. Saturday evening meal included in Participation Fee, other meals and drinks you can bring yourselves or order in the neighboring restaurant (~1.5 km, works from 11 a.m. until last client leaves). The kitchen for preparing meals will be available in our disposition.

Arrival

October 23, Saturday
10:30-12:30 Guided bike excursion in Old Kaunas.
14:00-16:00 From Kaunas to Kačerginė by bikes.

18:00 – 20:00 Bath.
20:00 – 24:00 Reunion Dinner, slideshows, dances, presentation of future plans.

October 24, Sunday
10:00 – 16:00 Bike tour from Kačerginė to Kaunas (~60 km) crossing Nemunas by ferry in Vilkija.

Cost of participation.

• Accommodation – 25 Lt per night pp.
• Participation fee – 40 Lt per person (included Reunion Dinner, bath, and organizational expenses).
• Guided bike excursion in Kaunas – 10-15 Lt depending on number of participants.
• Bike rent – it is possible to rent a bike in Kaunas (for 2 hours 15 Lt, for 1 day 35 Lt, for day and night 50 Lt, for a group 20% discount; www.2ride.lt).
